It
has always been a goal of mine to feel good
about self. Defining self through creative arts, aspiring
to be exactly who I am at any given moment.
My
songs, my words and my artwork are my truth. Or what my truth
was at the time of conception. I make no apologies, excuses or
self-effacing judgments anymore.
If
life were static, I'd have had only one song to write, one piece of
poetry, one piece of artwork to display on the corner
table. I'm glad that scenario isn't true. Life is a
journey, so is the art of it.
