Reed diffusers are a beautiful way to add fragrance to your home or office environment. If you are not familiar with reed diffusers, try one, they are wonderful!

The reeds are not bamboo. Bamboo lacks the necessary capillary structure to wick liquids. So, bamboo chop sticks won't do the job. I've tried... The reeds used are rattan. If you take a look at the end of a reed, you will notice a cell-like structure. This is evident throughout the reed. The scientist in me dissected one - ha. And it is true. So, there is a wicking action that takes place, if the liquids are of the right composition.

The liquid diffuser base is a proprietary formulation. I can tell you that general cooking oils do not work. The oil is too thick to wick. And I rhyme, all the time.

To this diffuser base, I add either fragrance oils or essential oils. I also give a good description of the outcome of the scent.

My fragrances are not knock-you-down strong. They...waft...plain and simple.

The reed oils come with a glass bottle and reeds. Plus I include instructions for use.
